The Vitamix 5200 Deluxe Blender Package includes the famous Dry Blade container. This 32 ounce Eastman Tritan Copolyester container is BPA-Free and features a square shape that pairs well with the specially designed Dry Blade for efficient processing of various dry grains into flour. It is also useful for chopping of dry ingredients which have very little moisture. Included is the Whole Grains cookbook with recipes like gluten-free and whole grain breads and cereals.
Smoothies and Frozen Desserts and Drinks
In addition to all the food processing tasks that the Vitamix 5200 performs, one if its most common functions is as a frozen drink and dessert maker. The 2 HorsePower (peak) motor and Wet Blade work together to cut through ice without hesitation. Super thick drinks can be made with less liquid; you may need the tamper. For best consistency, use frozen ingredients that are warmed to just below freezing. Add more ice or frozen fruit and make fresh ice creams and sorbets.

The High Speed brings liquid and ingredients up to serving temperature without any added heat source. Start with fresh ingredients and you’ll have a delicious, whole vegetable soup with no peeling or seeding required! To make a chunky soup, ingredients may be added on low speed during the last few seconds. Meats should be cooked before adding to the 5200.
