While a Vitamix is good to have, a food processor works just as good. A blender can also do a decent job if the other two options are not available.
Please note that fresh fruits and vegetables can make delicious smoothies without any milk or cream. However, Kafir, or Almond milk do ad a certain creaminess that is delightful.

This is a great way to add (wild edible greens) to your raw food diet. You won’t even notice it. My 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son absolutely love it. My not raw husband loves it.
I can easily give my daughter three of these drinks a day. Her friends love them too.
And I feel great that I give my kids a smoothie full of important minerals, vitamins, healthy omega three fats, fiber, protein, enzymes, that is hydrating and easy to digest!

7) Raw French Fries Recipe
Serves 4
Fries
4 kohlrabies
1/2 cups cold pressed olive or hemp seed oil
2 teaspoons curcumin (kurkuma)
1 teaspoon sea salt
Cut the kohlrabies like french-fries (julienne). You can do this with a knife, but it’s easiest with a mandolin. Put the kohlrabies in a bowl.
Put the oil, curcumin and salt in a bowl. Mix. Pour over the fries. Let it sit for at least 10 min. Then drain and scoop onto some paper towels (to take off excess oil).
8) Ketchup
3 tomatoes
3 pieces sun dried tomatoes
5 dates (or 1/2 teaspoon stevia and 4 more sun dried tomatoes)
1 squeeze lemon juice
1/2 cup pure water
Put all ingredients in a blender. On the bottom of the blender the water, lemon juice and tomatoes, on top the dried tomatoes and dates. Blend well. This will be easier if you leave the sun dried tomatoes sit in water for a few hours.
This is a winner snack on every (raw) dinner party.

1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup coconut meat
1 cup of ice cubes (optional)
Directions
Place all ingredients a blender and puree well. Add more water if needed.
Tip
The coconut meat makes the smoothie really creamy. And it’s a lot healthier than adding milk, soy, yoghurt, or (chemical) protein powders. It’s a perfect alternative for people with milk, soy or dairy allergies, because this smoothie is dairy free.
If you can find fresh coconut water from a young coconut, that’s really delicious too.You may find them in health stores, Asian food markets, or Chinatown. The young coconut water adds natural elctrolites to you smoothy. Full of easy to absorb minerals. It makes your smoothie more alkalizing.
If you can’t find fresh coconut water, just use purified water instead

3 cups fresh, organic strawberries
2 bananas
1 cup fresh young coconut water
2 tablespoons of raw hulled hempseed
1 cup of ice cubes (optional)
Directions
Place all ingredients a blender and puree well. Add more water if you like a thinner smoothie.
Tip
This is the healthiest of the 3 strawberry banana smoothie recipe. This is because of the hemp seed. Hemp seeds are a super food. They add healthy Omega 3 fats and protein to your smoothie. The fats of hemp seeds are a vegan alternative to fish oils, they boost our immune systems, improve our memory, and make you feel warmer in cold climates.
Hemp seeds are praised for having the highest quality of protein. All natural, easy to digest. Hemp seeds are the only seeds that don’t need to be soaked for better absorption.
Hemp seeds make the smoothie creamy and are much healthier than dairy or soy.
